Working at IMS – Job Application

Prerequisites

All positions at IMS require the following:

  • A solid worth ethic
  • Good communication skills
  • An ability and commitment to work as part of a team
  • A sincere interest in practicing meditation and bringing awareness to all areas of daily life
  • A commitment to observing the five training precepts
  • An intention to support the integrity of our retreat environment

Job preview

IMS seeks to employ the best available candidate for each position. After preliminary interviews, we may invite an applicant, especially for a residential staff position, to visit us for a few days to experience the job and meet staff members. This is called a 'Job Preview,' and if it proves to be a good two-way fit, we may then offer the position.
